She wrote the Nightrunner series first and then wrote the Tamir trilogy, which takes place a few hundred years (I think) earlier and tells how the country we know from the other series was formed. Queen Tamir is legend in the Nightrunner books, and it was interested to see what the world was like before and how the capital came to be. I wish I had read the Tamir books first, because it would have been really fun to read them talk about the legends now that I know more about the actual people involved.quixhttp://quix689.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
